See sales, profit and stock reports
Updated
Reporting shows sales, profit and stock across every channel. Each tab is one report:
- Dashboard: a summary.
- Sales: sales in the selected range, compared with the period before and with last year.
- Revenue: revenue without shipping and tax, less returns. Use By to group it, for example by channel, category or source.
- Profit: revenue less cost of goods, marketplace and auction fees, and operating expenses.
- Units sold: coins sold against coins in stock, best sellers and slow movers.
- Sources: revenue, profit, turnover and days to sell by where coins came from.
- Inventory value: coins in stock now, at cost and at estimate, by age.
- Sold items: each coin sold, with its price, buyer, cost and profit.
- Expenses: the operating expenses for the profit report.
Who sees the reports
The reports with money in them need the View reports and View cost permissions. Owners and admins have all permissions. Other members see only the tabs that their permissions allow.
Filter a report
- Click the date range. Choose a range such as Last 30 days, Month to date or Year to date, or set a custom range.
- Use the filters to show one or more channels, categories, grading services, sources, consignors or contractors.
The filters stay the same when you go to another report.
Export or print
Click Export CSV to download the report as a CSV file. Click Print to print it. Sold items shows only the first lines on the page. Export the CSV file to get all lines.
Add operating expenses
Add rent, payroll, show fees and other costs of the business. The profit report then shows net profit. Only owners and admins can manage expenses.
- Go to Expenses.
- Click Add expense.
- Type the Date, the Amount and the Category. The Note (optional) is for your team.
- For a cost that repeats, turn on Repeat each month. You can set a Last month (optional).
- Click Add expense.
A recurring expense counts each month.
