Value coins with AI

Updated

A valuation prices a coin from PCGS data, recorded sales and metal prices.

Value one coin

  1. Open the coin from Coins.
  2. Click Value with AI. After the first valuation, the button is Revalue.

One valuation uses 15 credits. The result shows:

  • The estimate range and the confidence: high, medium or low.
  • What the estimate comes from: recorded sales, the price guide, the metal value, or general market knowledge when there are no close sales.
  • Buy up to, List at, Price guide, Metal value, Population at grade and Graded higher.
  • The recent sales used, with the grade, date and price of each.

To save the estimate as the coin's value, click the button with the amount, such as Use $450 as value.

Value many coins

  1. On Coins, select up to 500 coins.
  2. Click Value with AI.
  3. To change each coin's value to its estimate, turn on Set each coin's value to the estimate. The changes go into price history. Linked Flow Dealers listings keep their price.
  4. Click the button with the number of credits, such as Value for 80 credits.

Each coin in a bulk run uses 8 credits. Results arrive within an hour. You can close the window while the valuation runs. When credits run out, the run stops and the rest of the coins are not valued.

Set valuation rules

You need the Edit coins permission.

  1. Go to Valuation rules.
  2. Set the rules:
  • Buy up to: the most you pay, as a percent of the estimate.
  • List at: your asking price, as a percent of the estimate.
  • Price alert gap: opens a price alert when an estimate and a value or asking price differ by this much.
  1. Click Save.

Revalue stock on a schedule

  1. On Valuation rules, set Revalue coins in stock to Every 30 days, Every 60 days or Every 90 days.
  2. To set each coin's value to the new estimate, turn on Update values automatically.
  3. Click Save.

A schedule values up to 100 coins a day at 8 credits each. It uses up to 800 credits a day.

Share sales data

Share my sales in other dealers' valuations lets CoinManagerPro use your completed sales, anonymized. Other dealers see only rounded medians and price ranges from at least three dealers. They never see your name, your customers or a single sale.
