Get an AI grade opinion and write descriptions with AI

Updated

Both actions are on the coin page. Open a coin from Coins.

Get a grade opinion

The grade assessment reads the coin's photos and gives a second opinion on the grade. It is not a certified grade.

  1. Add obverse and reverse photos to the coin. The button does not work without photos.
  2. Click Assess grade.
  3. Wait while the button shows Reading photos.

One assessment uses 16 credits. The result shows:

  • The estimated grade, a grade range and a confidence percent.
  • For a slabbed coin, whether the coin is low end, solid or high end for its holder grade.
  • The number of photos used and the date.
  • Problems that the assessment found.
  • Notes on the strike, surfaces, luster and eye appeal.

For a coin that is not certified, you can click the button with the grade, such as Use MS64 as grade, to set the coin's grade. Click Assess again for a new opinion.

Write a description

  1. Click Write with AI.
  2. Wait while the button shows Writing.
  3. Read the draft in Description draft. Edit it if necessary.
  4. Click Save description.

The draft replaces the current description of the coin. One description uses 3 credits.

Do it for many coins

A workflow can do the same work for many coins:

  • Assess grades reads coin photos and records a grade opinion, for up to 10 coins.
  • Write descriptions writes listing descriptions from each coin's facts, for up to 25 coins.

See Automate work with workflows.

When you do not have enough credits

The action does not run, and the Buy credits dialog opens. See Use and buy AI credits.
