List coins on eBay

Updated

Before you list, connect eBay and finish the eBay setup. You need the Manage listings permission.

List many coins

  1. Go to Coins.
  2. Select the coins.
  3. Click List on eBay.
  4. Choose Save as drafts to review titles, prices and details first. Or choose Publish now.
  5. In Price vs. recommended price, enter a percent, such as 10 for 10% over or -5 for 5% under. Leave it empty to use the markup in your eBay settings.
  6. Click Save drafts or Publish.

Each coin gets a listing with its title, description, photos, grading and certification details. The price comes from the coin's AI recommended list price or its estimated value.

The dialog then shows the results:

  • Coins without a value, or already on eBay, are skipped. The dialog shows the reason for each.
  • Some listings need more details before eBay accepts them. Open the listings to fill them in.

Click Open listings to go to Listings.

List one coin

  1. Open the coin.
  2. In the eBay and Walmart section, click List on eBay.

The same dialog opens. The section then shows the listing with Edit, Publish or End.

Edit a listing

On Listings, click a listing. The editor has these fields:

  • Title, up to 80 characters for eBay.
  • Description. Write with AI writes one and uses credits.
  • Price.
  • eBay category. Search for a category, such as Morgan dollar.
  • Item specifics.

Click Save. To put a draft live, click Publish. To remove a draft that was never published, click Delete draft. The History tab shows each change to the listing.

When the listing goes live

A published listing goes live when its coin has stock. While the marketplace processes the listing, its status is Waiting on marketplace. A live listing shows Live.

List new coins automatically

  1. Go to eBay and Walmart.
  2. In the eBay settings, turn on List new coins.

Each coin you add is listed on eBay, priced from its value.
