Get coin lists from contractors
Updated
A contractor can send you a coin list through a list link. The contractor does not need a login. No coin goes into stock until you record the purchase.
Make a list link
- Open the contractor from Contractors.
- In the List link section, click Make a link.
- Copy the link and send it to the contractor. The link is not shown again.
A new link stops the old link. Stop the link stops it at once. A link stops working after 90 days without a sent list. Template downloads the Excel template.
What the contractor can send
On the link page, the contractor can:
- Download Template (Excel) or Template (CSV), fill it in, and click Upload the filled list.
- Upload their own sheet with a Description column.
- Type each coin with Add a line.
- Send photos or a PDF of a paper list, up to 5 pages, 5 MB each.
- Enter a Price for the whole list and a Note to the dealer.
Then the contractor clicks Send the list.
Review a list
Lists that wait for you show under Lists from contractors on Purchases, and on the contractor page.
- Click Make a purchase on the list. The new purchase starts with the contractor and the coins from the list.
- If the list has photos or a PDF, click Read list. AI reads the coins into lines. This uses credits for each page.
- Check each coin and the cost.
- Click Record purchase.
To remove a list without a purchase, click Dismiss.
Import a list yourself
You can also import a list that a contractor gave you another way.
- Start a New purchase and pick the contractor.
- On the Coins step, click Import a list.
- Choose Spreadsheet or Photo or PDF.
For a spreadsheet:
- Click Select a spreadsheet. Use a CSV, tab-separated or Excel (.xlsx) file up to 10 MB.
- Match each column to a field. Leave Keep this mapping for the next list from this contractor on to save the mapping.
- Click the add button, such as Add 12 rows.
For a paper list or invoice:
- Click Select photos or a PDF.
- Add up to 5 pages. AI reads the lines and uses credits for each page.
The lines go into the purchase. Check them before you record the purchase.
